Woman Dies After Falling From Hotel Window in Waterloo

Police rushed to a hotel on Addington Street, Waterloo, at 11.30pm after concerns for a woman’s welfare. Officers and paramedics found the woman had fallen from a hotel window and sadly died at the scene.

Next of Kin Informed as Police Investigate

Her next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Road Closed Overnight During Investigation

Following the incident, Addington Street was shut between Southbank and Waterloo Station from midnight until 7am. A police cordon was in place between York Road and Lambeth Palace Road.

Woman Had Reportedly Gone Missing Earlier

The woman had gone missing from Barnet, North London, around 10.30pm on the same night.

The Met Police’s complaints division has notified the Directorate of Professional Standards, following the tragic event.
