Violent Football Riot Erupts at Swindon Station

Chaos erupted at Swindon Railway Station on the morning of Saturday, April 9, 2022, when rival football fans clashed on the crowded platform. Around 11:40 a.m., fans of Cardiff City and Newport County began a vicious fight, hurling punches, bottles, cans, and other objects.

A police officer narrowly dodged a flying bottle amid the pandemonium. The platform was packed not only with football supporters but also with everyday commuters caught in the turmoil.

Police Hunt Key Suspects

The British Transport Police (BTP) are keen to speak to the men pictured in connection with the brawl. They believe these individuals may hold vital clues to help crack the case.
