Exmouth RNLI’s Nine Lessons and Carols Draws Crowds

The Exmouth RNLI Lifeboat crew came together for a festive and well-attended Nine Lessons and Carols service, led by their chaplain, Rev. Steve Jones. The event featured heartfelt readings from volunteers and lively festive tunes performed by Tess and the d’Urbevilles, under the direction of leader Tess Read.

Community Spirit Shines Bright After Covid Hiatus

Des White, Chair of the RNLI Fundraising Team, hailed the gathering as “a thoroughly enjoyable occasion” and was thrilled to see so many supporters return after the Covid break. The retiring collection raised an impressive £526.06, all destined to help fund vital lifesaving training and equipment for the RNLI volunteers.

Big Thanks to Local Shops for Refreshments

White gave special shout-outs to Tesco on Salterton Road and Budgens in Queens Drive, Exmouth, for generously providing refreshments to keep spirits high during the event.
