Blaze Hits East Cowes as 30 Hay Bales Go Up in Flames
Firefighters from Newport and East Cowes rushed to tackle a huge fire consuming 30 hay bales in East Cowes last night.
Crews Battle Massive Field Fire Off Folly Lane
The blaze broke out around 9pm Monday in a field off Folly Lane, just off the busy Whippingham Road. Crews from both fire stations were quickly mobilised to the scene.
Support Units Join Fight Against Spreading Flames
Reinforcements arrived in the form of a Land Rover from Ryde and a water carrier from Freshwater to help douse the inferno.
