School Bus Crash in Newton Abbot Sparks Busy Police Response

At 3.40pm on Thursday 10th December, a mobile Roads Policing patrol found a crash at the busy junction of Ashburton Road and A382 Bovey Tracey Road, Newton Abbot.

The collision involved a grey single-decker coach carrying school children. The male driver and 40 pupils were safely evacuated from the vehicle.

All Safe, No Serious Injuries

Thankfully, all passengers were accounted for and no serious injuries were reported. The incident drew a large crowd of onlookers and witnesses.

Police Praise Public Patience During Investigation

Officers thanked members of the public for their patience while they carried out their investigation at the scene. Traffic was affected but cleared once inquiries concluded.
