Man Arrested After Woman Stabbed Outside Headington Co-Op

Attempted Murder Probe Underway

A 30-year-old Oxford man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Headington. The attack happened yesterday afternoon around 3.10pm outside the Co-Op on London Road.

Victim in Hospital with Serious Injuries

The victim, a woman in her twenties, was rushed to hospital with serious wounds and remains there under medical care. Police confirmed the arrest was made today at approximately 10.40am, and the suspect is now in custody.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Specially trained officers are supporting the victim’s family during this distressing time. Thames Valley Police urge anyone with information to come forward. Call the non-emergency number 101 and quote reference 784 (12/3).
