M23 Shut After Body Found on Road
The M23 southbound between Junctions 8 and 9 has been closed tonight (Sunday, December 10) after a body was discovered on the road. Authorities are urgently investigating the tragic incident.
No Third-Party Suspected, Police Say
Surrey Police revealed there’s currently no evidence of a third party being involved. Officers are focusing on how the individual ended up on the motorway.
They’re appealing to anyone who was driving on the M23 between 4:45 pm and 5:00 pm to come forward. If you hit something or noticed anything unusual, you could be crucial to the probe.
Police are also keen to speak with a man spotted walking on the A25 Bletchingley Road Bridge around the same time as the incident.
