Four fire engines and about 25 firefighters rushed to tackle a fire at an abandoned pub on Woolwich Road, Greenwich.

Ground Floor Damaged But No Injuries

Part of the pub’s ground floor was damaged, but thankfully, no one was hurt.

The fire brigade was called at 8.39pm, and the blaze was under control by 9.18pm. Crews from East Greenwich and Plumstead fire stations joined forces to douse the flames swiftly.
