Police are hunting for witnesses after a deadly motorcycle crash on Welders Lane, Chalfont St. Peter.

Motorcyclist Collides With Tree in Early Morning Smash

Just after 6.25am on Saturday (24/10), a black BMW motorcycle veered off the road and smashed into a tree. The rider, a man in his forties from Buckinghamshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Users to Speak Up

“We are investigating this tragic incident which has resulted in the death of a 48-year-old man,” said PC Dave Black from the Roads Policing Unit at Amersham Police Station.

“I am urging anybody who witnessed the collision to please make contact with police.”

“I would also ask any drivers with dash-cams to check their footage in case it has captured anything relevant.”
