The community came together in sorrow on Tuesday as hundreds attended the funerals at Zakariyya Jaam’e Masjid, Bolton’s central mosque. Tributes flooded in for the teenagers.
“Mohammed was full of dreams and aspirations with a beautiful smile,” recalled a mourner.
“The loss of Muhammad Danyaal Asghar Ali is deeply painful. He will never be forgotten,” said another on a fundraiser page.
Taxi driver Masrob Ali’s funeral is today in Blackburn. His daughter Humayra, 29, praised police support and shared her heartbreak:

Greater Manchester Police revealed five passengers from both cars remain hospitalised, some with serious injuries. Detective Inspector Andrew Page urged the public to be responsible with social media footage:
“We urge the public to think carefully before sharing footage on social media, as this can deeply impact families involved and may be a criminal offence.”
He also thanked emergency crews for their rapid response at the chaotic crash scene.
