Tragic Crash: Man Dies After Car Hits Railway Bridge in Aylesham
Just after 2.30am on Sunday, October 9, a red Volkswagen Polo smashed into a railway bridge on Cornwall Road heading towards Hamilton Road. The impact was deadly.
A 21-year-old man from Aylesham was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital. A woman involved in the crash received treatment for minor injuries.
Serious Collision Investigation Underway
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is digging into the crash. They want anyone who saw the car beforehand or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
