A man has died after being hit by a car in Willesden, sparking a murder investigation.
29-Year-Old Arrested Over Fatal Willesden Crash
Police swooped on a 29-year-old man on Thursday, December 4, arresting him on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as detectives probe the tragic incident.
Tragic Collision on Chapel Close
The crash happened just after 12:40pm on Wednesday, December 3, on Chapel Close, Willesden. Emergency services rushed to the scene following a collision between a vehicle and pedestrians.
The victim, 34-year-old Ruben Nunes from Peterborough, was treated by paramedics but sadly died at the scene. His heartbroken family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.

Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams said: “This is a distressing incident, and we understand the concern for the local community. Our thoughts are with Ruben’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
