A 19-year-old woman is fighting for her life after a motorcycle crashed into a wall in East Sussex, leaving both riders seriously injured. Emergency services were called to Wallsend Road, Pevensey, shortly after midnight on Friday, July 10, following reports that a motorcycle had collided with a wall. The rider, a 28-year-old man from Reigate, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged. However, his passenger, a 19-year-old woman from Croydon, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Police appeal for witnesses
Sussex Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the serious collision. Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have captured the incident or the motorcycle on CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward. Investigators believe anyone travelling through the area around the time of the collision could hold vital information.

The road was closed while emergency services responded to the incident and collision investigators examined the scene. Police are working to establish exactly how the collision occurred.
