Dog Dies After Vicious Attack in Mountfield Park, Catford — Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police have launched an investigation after a dog was fatally injured in a violent attack in Mountfield Park, Catford, earlier this month.

Officers were called to the scene at 9:13pm on Tuesday, 17 June, following reports that one dog had viciously attacked another. By the time police arrived, the injured dog had sustained critical injuries and was later put down as a result.

Victim Identified as Greyhound Named Juno

A widely shared community poster alleges that the victim was a greyhound named Juno, who had to be euthanised due to the severity of the wounds. The poster described the incident as a “brutal” and “traumatic” attack.
