UK’s Most Wanted: Meet the Dangerous Fugitives on the NCA’s Radar
The National Crime Agency (NCA) leads the charge against organised crime, trafficking, cyber crime, and economic crime in the UK, especially those with international links.
As of December 2025, 19 men top the NCA’s most wanted list. Their crimes range from drug trafficking to rape and murder. Seven suspects are believed to be in London or linked to London-based crimes.
Here are their names, faces, and what you need to know.
John Barton – The Fugitive Heroin Kingpin

John Barton was sentenced to 20 years in prison back in 2003 for conspiring to import a commercial quantity of heroin. But he was sentenced in absentia and has never served time.
The drug operation took place between 1999 and 2000. Police believe Barton has connections in Fuengirola, Spain, and London.
Details: Around 170cm tall, medium build, dyed receding hair.
Daniel Dugic – Cocaine Smuggling Mastermind

Suspected of orchestrating the import of 255kg of cocaine into the UK in 2011, Daniel Dugic allegedly managed a covert transfer between a UK vessel and a container ship in the English Channel.
Though not physically present during the transfer, Dugic’s key role in organising this illegal shipment is clear. While others were convicted, Dugic remains on the run. He is originally from Serbia and is thought to be in London.
Jack Mayle – Dark Web Drug Dealer on the Run
Jack Mayle allegedly ran a South London and Surrey drug operation called Flavour Quest. He is said to have traded with a dark web dealer to traffic drugs through their networks.
After being charged, Mayle disappeared. Born in Croydon, his distinctive tattoos make him stand out: ‘Croydon’ across his left forearm, a diamond under his left eye, and ‘money never sleeps’ on his left hand.
Details: Around 30, 5ft 11in, muscular, vegan, gym-goer, known to carry weapons.

Insider Trader Ersin Mustafa
Ersin Mustafa, a former JP Morgan Cazenove employee (2006–2008), is wanted for insider trading. Alongside seven others, he allegedly used confidential info on mergers and acquisitions to rake in £2.5m.
He was arrested in 2008 but vanished after being released on bail. Thought to have fled around December 2009, Mustafa may still be hiding in London.
Details: Approximately 165cm, stocky, dark hair, tanned skin.
Ozgur Demir & Osman Aydeniz – Diamorphine Dealers
Wanted for conspiracy to supply nearly 18kg of diamorphine, Ozgur Demir and Osman Aydeniz remain fugitives. Three others connected to this crime are already convicted.
The NCA urges anyone with info on these Turkish nationals to come forward immediately.
Christakis Philippou – The Travel Fraudster
A travel scam mastermind, Christakis Philippou (aka Christakis Chrysostomou) ran a scheme from 2004 to 2006 involving fake travel agencies selling outrageously cheap holiday deals.
These agencies shut down, leaving 20,000 customers stranded without holidays. Philippou, believed to be in London, is described as around 165cm, grey receding hair, and tan skin.
