Police have raided Lord Peter Mandelson’s swanky Wiltshire home in a jaw-dropping probe linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Officers from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime unit swooped on Mandelson’s pad near Wilcot, close to Pewsey, in the early hours. A second search hit a separate property in Camden.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Hayley Sewart said: “I can confirm officers are currently carrying out searches at two addresses, one in Wiltshire and another in Camden. The enquiries relate to an ongoing investigation into misconduct in public office offences. The individual involved has not been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
