Man Sustains Head and Face Injuries after Assault in Southampton
Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses to an assault that happened near Pizza Hut in Bitterne Road precinct between 10am and 12pm on Friday, May 27. A 21-year-old man was walking with a friend along Bitterne Road when the pair were approached by two men. The two groups reportedly had a heated, verbal dispute in public. Police believe the two men then assaulted the the 21-year-old man before running off in the direction of Bitterne Leisure centre. The man sustained injuries to his face and head. Police are appealing for witnesses to this assault. Did you see anything?
