Man Wanted After Shocking Daytime Attack Outside Southampton Garage
Police are on the hunt for a man linked to a brutal assault outside Silverlake Garage on Onslow Road, Southampton. The attack happened around 1.30pm on Thursday, February 11.
A 54-year-old man from the New Forest was trying to leave the garage when a man driving a black Honda Civic, parked behind him, suddenly approached and launched an unprovoked attack. The victim suffered injuries to his neck and head.
Suspect Description Released
Hampshire Police have been working hard to identify the attacker and have now released a description to the public:
- White male with an Eastern European accent
- Pale complexion
- Clean-shaven
- Scar or mark above his lip
- Height: around 5ft 11in
- Large, muscular build
Police Plea: “Help Us Find Him”
“This is an unprovoked assault that happened in the middle of the day,” said PC Neil Devine from the Western Investigation Team. “We are appealing for information and the identity of the man pictured. Do you recognise him? We urge anyone who knows him to contact us in confidence and assist with this investigation.”
