Woman Held After Violent Stabbing in Portsmouth Park
A 23-year-old man was left fighting for his life after a brutal knife attack in Portsmouth last night. The victim suffered wounds to his head and hand in what police believe was a desperate attempted mugging.
Three Suspects Demand Phone Before Attack
The victim was confronted by two men and a woman just before 8pm in Kingston Park, near St Mary’s Road. The trio demanded his mobile phone before launching the vicious assault.
Police swiftly sealed off the park around 9pm, with dog units scouring the area for evidence. Officers remain on site as the investigation continues.
38-Year-Old Woman Arrested Over Robbery
A 38-year-old local woman is now in custody, arrested on suspicion of robbery. Police are hunting the two male suspects who fled the scene.
