Bournemouth Burglary Suspect Snapped After Car Theft Drama
Detectives have released an image of a man they want to question over a spooky burglary in Bournemouth.
Late-Night Break-In on Lowther Road
The crime happened in the early hours of Sunday 2 September 2018. Two women in their 20s left a home on Lowther Road around 10.30pm on Saturday. When they returned at 2.30am, their valuables were gone – including an iPad, iPhone, and car keys. To make matters worse, one woman’s silver Ford Fiesta was stolen.
Thief Caught Red-Handed – Well, Almost
Later that afternoon, walking along Portchester Road with her partner, the victim spotted her stolen Fiesta parked up. Inside, a man was sitting in the front passenger seat, with another man in the back. When confronted, both fled the scene. The quick-thinking victim snapped a photo of one suspect as they ran off. Luckily, the keys were still in the ignition, and she recovered her car.
