Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight at Basing Hill Park
Police scrambled to Basing Hill Park, NW11, at 4.50pm on Sunday after London Ambulance Service reported a stabbing. Around 20 officers swarmed the scene, sealing off the area to launch a major investigation.
Victim Airlifted to Hospital
A teenage boy was found with stab wounds. Paramedics treated him on the spot before he was rushed to hospital by air ambulance. His condition is now reported as non life-threatening, but a police crime scene remains in place.
Section 60 Powers Activated
Police have imposed Section 60 stop-and-search powers across Childs Hill, Golders Green, Garden Suburb, Hendon, West Hendon, Dollis Hill, and Mapesbury until 8.35am on 2 March to aid their hunt for the attacker.
No Arrests Yet, Enquiries Ongoing
So far, no arrests have been made. Officers urge anyone who saw what happened to call 101 quoting CAD 5111/01Mar.
