Six Months On: Police Seek New Leads in Murder of Teen Kyle Whitley

18-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed in Broad Daylight

It’s been six months since 18-year-old Kyle Whitley was brutally stabbed to death on Vincent Road, Litherland. The attack happened on the afternoon of Monday, 13 April. Despite being rushed to hospital by ambulance, Kyle sadly didn’t survive.

Investigation Still Open – Five Arrested

Police have arrested five suspects linked to the murder, but the investigation is far from over. Detectives are urging anyone near Vincent Road between 2pm and 3pm on that day who hasn’t yet spoken to them, to step forward. Your information could be crucial.

CCTV and Dash-Cam Footage Needed

Officers are also calling for anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Mark Baker said:

“This was a horrific assault carried out in broad daylight leading to the untimely death of an 18-year-old man. Our investigation remains ongoing, and we are determined to find those responsible for Kyle’s death. It has been an incredibly distressing six months for Kyle’s family, and we urge anyone with information to come forward.”
