Teen Brutally Attacked in Carshalton – Police Hunt Suspect
Police were called at around 5pm on Sunday, 20 December after a 17-year-old was viciously assaulted near the roundabout at Culvers Avenue and Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton. A man suddenly approached the teenager and launched an attack before fleeing the scene.
Teen Undergoes Surgery, Remains Stable
The victim made his way to a south London hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is now in stable condition. Officers from the South Area Basic Command Unit are investigating the attack and urgently want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity around the time and location of the assault.
Police Plea for Witnesses
Detective Constable Samantha Thompson said: “This was a serious assault and left the victim with significant injuries. I would urge anybody with information, no matter how small, to speak to the police, so we can bring those responsible to justice.”
No arrests have been made so far.
