Police rushed to Woodcock Hill, Kenton, around 5.40pm after reports of a car hitting a pedestrian. A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was violently thrown 30 feet down the road.

Driver Arrested Over Deadly Crash
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance. He remains in police custody.
