Man Shot Dead in Dalston: Police Launch Investigation

A man in his 30s has died after gunfire erupted in Hackney’s Gillett Square, Dalston, in the early hours of Saturday, 8 May.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police were called at 12:56am following reports of shots fired. Officers found the man seriously injured but despite desperate attempts by paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crime Scene Secured, No Arrests Yet

A crime scene is in place as officers work to identify the victim and notify his family. The exact cause of his injuries remains under investigation, with a post-mortem exam scheduled.
