Horley Assault: Police Hunt Two Men After Victim Tripped and Beaten
Police are on the lookout for two suspects following a brutal assault in Horley on Wednesday, 14 April. The victim was attacked on Vicarage Road, opposite Horley Recreation Ground, shortly after 8pm.
Victim Tripped Up and Brutally Assaulted
The victim was simply walking down the street when two strangers tripped him up. They then launched a vicious assault and stole his shoe. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries — thankfully, not life-changing.
Wanted: Two Young Men Spotted Near Scene
- Suspect One: White male, around 5ft 10, aged 18-19, brown hair. He wore a plain dark navy blue tracksuit and was seen carrying a can of Stella Artois.
- Suspect Two: White male, about 5ft 9, dark blonde hair, possibly with a mole on his right cheek. He wore a grey tracksuit with a cream cameo jacket featuring dark trims.
Police have released CCTV images and are urging the public to help identify these men.
