Callous Killer Dragged Liam to His Death in Stolen Car Horror
Martin Eastwood, 22, of Epsom, was found guilty of murder at the Old Bailey on Monday, 7 March. His accomplice, Daniel Morris, 22, previously admitted manslaughter. Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jasmine Robinson from Epsom was convicted of assisting an offender.
Brutal Hit-and-Run Caught on CCTV
On 26 July 2019, 25-year-old Liam was mercilessly struck by a stolen Ford S-MAX in Chessington and dragged half a mile underneath. The driver sped off without stopping. The burnt-out car was later found a mile away in Epsom.
Despite the criminals torched the vehicle trying to erase evidence, detectives used CCTV and expert analysis to track their movements. Telematics data from the Ford confirmed it had been stationary right before accelerating and hitting Liam.
Fury as Eastwood’s Cold-Blooded Crime Unfolds
Detective Inspector Garth Hall said: “The actions of Martin Eastwood were callous and intentional. Liam didn’t stand a chance being hit and dragged along the road to his death.”
Liam and friends had earlier clashed with occupants of a stolen Volvo outside a Chessington pub. No one was hurt then, but tensions boiled over later that night.

Detective Inspector Hall added: “Robinson’s calculated actions following Liam’s murder cannot be ignored. She has rightly been convicted for her part.”
All three await sentencing on Thursday, 31 March. Liam’s family finally get the justice they deserve after a relentless investigation and public appeals.
