Man Found Dead in Chingford Woodlands: Two Arrested
A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman have been arrested after walking into a South London police station, linked to a shocking death in East London.
Injured Man Found in Woods
Police were called at 9:09pm on Wednesday, 15 February following reports of an injured man in a wooded area near Walthamstow Avenue, Chingford, E4.
Officers arrived alongside the London Ambulance Service but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Murder Investigation Underway
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched a murder probe, treating the death as suspicious.
The victim has been identified and his family is being informed.
A crime scene remains cordoned off while inquiries continue.
