Man Dies from Chest Stab in Thornhill

Mark Noke was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Saturday, 25 February, at his home on Warburton Road, Thornhill. The 64-year-old died from a stab wound to the chest.

Multiple Arrests Made but Investigation Continues

Police have arrested six men aged 20 to 31 on suspicion of murder. They have all been released on bail. A 39-year-old man previously held on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been bailed.

Police Hunt for Those Behind Fatal Attack

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said: “We are turning over every stone to bring those responsible to justice. This includes searching for anyone helping suspects, specifically wanted man Leighton Tabone.”

“Anyone sheltering Tabone faces arrest for criminal offences.”

“We continue to support Mark’s family but urge anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward. It could be vital in solving this case.”
