Enfield Masseuse Found Guilty of Sex Assault and Voyeurism

Yulian Dimov from Enfield, Middlesex, was slammed with a guilty verdict on Thursday, 2 May at Wood Green Crown Court. He faces 20 charges, including sexual assault and voyeurism, after abusing the trust of vulnerable women.

Detective Praises Victims’ Courage

Detective Constable Abigail Butler, lead investigator, said: “Dimov preyed on those who trusted him and were vulnerable when he assaulted them. The incredible work by officers is only matched by the bravery of the women who came forward. If anyone else believes they have been assaulted by Dimov, we urge you to get in touch – we want to help.”

She added: “We are dedicated to protecting vulnerable women and girls in London and will do everything to make them feel safe.”

Multiple Victims Step Forward After Initial Report

The police probe kicked off in November 2022 when a woman reported being sexually assaulted during a home massage session. Officers quickly tracked down other women who had appointments with Dimov. One woman who initially withdrew support re-engaged once she realised Dimov wasn’t a one-off offender.

During police interviews, Dimov denied all allegations. But a search of his phone revealed more than 30 covert photos of women taken without their knowledge during home visits.

Following police contact, more victims came forward, revealing a chilling pattern of abuse.

Arrest at Gatwick and Conviction Details

Dimov was busted at Gatwick Airport on 15 June 2023, just as he tried to flee to Bulgaria on a one-way flight. Despite overwhelming evidence, he claimed the photos were for legitimate use on his massage website.

He was convicted of six counts of voyeurism, two counts of attempted voyeurism, nine counts of sexual assault, and three counts of sexual assault involving ten victims in total.

His sentencing is set for Friday, 28 June at Wood Green Court.
