Police were called to Walnut Tree Road in Erith today after reports emerged of a man in possession of a knife.
Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 4:40 PM following reports of a man armed with a weapon. However, despite a thorough search, they were unable to locate a suspect.
Metropolitan Police confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at around 16.40hrs on Friday 21 June to Walnut Tree Road, Erith to reports of a man in possession of a knife. Officers attended the scene but were unable to locate either a suspect or any injured party.”
Authorities are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
