Knife Alert Sparks Police Hunt in Erith
Police were scrambled to Walnut Tree Road, Erith, today after reports of a man brandishing a knife.
Armed Suspect on the Loose
Officers arrived around 4:40 PM following tip-offs about a man carrying a weapon. Despite a thorough search, the suspect was nowhere to be found.
No Injuries Reported
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that no one was hurt in the incident. A spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 16.40hrs on Friday 21 June to Walnut Tree Road, Erith to reports of a man in possession of a knife. Officers attended but were unable to locate either a suspect or any injured party.”
