Waterlooville Drug dealer Jamie Sibley Shot after Botched Robbery Attempt

A neighbour who we are not naming heard and watched the drama unfold in the block of flats in the early hours of Monday morning. The man shot is named as Jamie Sibley who has blighted the neighbournood with his drug dealing for years and it was only a matter of time. The neighbour told UK News in Pictures, “I heard the shot rain out after the pair turned up at the property they then fled the property.” It is understood that the pair arrested, a man and woman, had gone to the property in an attempt to rob their dealing.” The woman is always coming around to the property to score drugs.” said the source. Police have spent the day in the area searching gardens and other areas whilst the pair remain in custody and being questioned by officers from the Major crime team. Police arrested the man and a woman on suspicion of attempted murder after the shooting of the man in Crookhorn in the early hours of this morning, Monday. The shooting happened around 12.50am in Athena Avenue. A man in his 30’s received serious head injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance. Officers, including armed police, arrested a 37-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman at an address in High Lawn Way, Havant less than two hours later at around 2.25am. Chief investigator, Detective Superintendent Darren Rawlings said, “It is likely local people will see a lot of officers and police activity in the area today as we both look to reassure the community and investigate the crime. We currently have two scenes one where the arrests happened and one where the victim was shot. “We would ask that anybody with information or who has witnessed the incident calls us on 101 and quotes Operation Endorse or they can approach one of the officers in the area.”
