Second Man Arrested Over Crossharbour DLR Station Murder
Detectives from British Transport Police have arrested a second suspect in the murder probe at Crossharbour DLR station.
21-Year-Old Held on Murder Suspicion
This afternoon (14 July), a 21-year-old man was taken into custody for questioning on suspicion of murder. This follows the earlier arrest of Hamza Hoque, also 21, from Manchester Road, Tower Hamlets, who appeared in court charged with murder this morning.
Victim Died at the Scene
The victim, 19-year-old Muhammed Samir Uddin, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene on Friday 10 July despite paramedics’ efforts. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained family liaison officers.
