Police Launch Manhunt Over Edgware Rape Horror
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have upped the ante in a chilling rape investigation in Edgware. They’ve just released an urgent appeal featuring an image of a man they desperately want to question.
Brutal Assault Outside Underground Station
The alleged attack happened just after midnight on September 6. The victim, a man in his twenties, was heading home after a night out when disaster struck outside Edgware underground station on Station Road.
According to the victim, an unknown man approached him and started chatting. The conversation soon turned sinister, with the attacker reportedly sexually assaulting him in a nearby car park.
Police Plea: Recognise This Man?
Shaken but quick to act, the victim immediately contacted police. Officers launched a full-scale investigation, offering the victim specialist support amid his trauma.
Detectives have been burning the midnight oil to track down the culprit. Now, they’ve released a photo of a man who could hold the key to cracking the case.
