Elderly Man Fighting for Life After Shocking A3100 Crash Near Milford, Surrey
An elderly pedestrian, believed to be in his 80s, is now in hospital with serious injuries after a collision on the A3100 near Milford, Surrey.
Pedestrian Struck Opposite Milford Village Hall
The smash happened at around 5.40pm on 11 November on Chapel Lane, just opposite Milford village hall. A single car hit the pedestrian, prompting emergency crews to rush to the scene.
An air ambulance was scrambled and the injured man was airlifted to hospital. The driver, a woman, escaped unharmed.
Surrey Police Launch Collision Probe
Surrey Roads Policing officers are investigating. They’re examining the scene and have carried out skid tests on the road to figure out how it happened.
Fire crews from Godalming attended and hosed down the area affected by the accident.
Road Closure Causes Delays — Witnesses Wanted
The road remains closed at the junction with Portsmouth Road (A3100). Drivers are urged to find alternate routes as the closure is expected to last until around 10.30pm.
