Dealer Jailed for Over Three Years in High Wycombe Drugs Bust
A man from High Wycombe has been locked up for more than three years after pleading guilty to possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
Yasar Mahmood Caught with Drugs and Cash
Yasar Mahmood, 32, of Upper Green Street, admitted the offence at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday (10/11). His sentencing follows a police raid on 5 October 2018, where drugs, cash, and mobile phones were seized from a property on Upper Green Street.
Strong Message from Police
Mahmood was arrested days after the raid on 9 October 2018 and finally charged on 18 June 2020. He has now been sentenced to three years and six months in prison.
“We take a strong stance on drugs as we see the effect it has on vulnerable people in our communities every day,” said Detective Constable James Carey of High Wycombe police station.
“I hope this will act as a lesson to all those attempting to or continuing to sell drugs in the Thames Valley that we will not tolerate this.
We will always do all we can to stop this type of criminality and protect the members of the public who are most affected by these crimes.”
