Teenager Jeremiah Sewell Murdered in Beckenham Place Park
Jeremiah Sewell, 19, from Bellingham, has been confirmed as the young victim in a stabbing tragedy. The Met’s Specialist Crime Command detectives named him following the brutal attack.
Four Arrested in Early Morning Police Raid
In a dramatic overnight swoop, cops arrested four suspects linked to Jeremiah’s death:
- Two men, aged 19 and 18, held on suspicion of murder
- Two others, aged 21 and 26, arrested for assisting an offender
All four remain in police custody as the investigation presses on.
Family Supported as Police Plead for Public Help
“My thoughts continue to be with Jeremiah’s family and friends,” said Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood, leading the probe. “They deserve answers on what happened and who is responsible for his death.”
“We’ve made progress but need the public to come forward. No tip is too small — any information could be vital.”
Fatal Stabbing Outside South London Hospital
Jeremiah was found with stab wounds to his neck and rushed to a south London hospital. Despite medical efforts, he tragically died.
The stabbing happened around 4:40am while Jeremiah sat in his parked car in Beckenham Place Park.
