A pedestrian suffered potentially life-threatening injuries following a serious crash in Birmingham late Sunday evening.

Two-Car Collision at Busy Junction

The West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) was called to a collision at the junction of Adderley Road and Landor Street at 8.47pm on October 12. The crash involved two cars—one stationary—and a pedestrian.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

  • Three ambulances
  • Two paramedic officers
  • MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic
  • Critical Care Car

All responded urgently to the scene to administer advanced trauma care.

Multiple Injuries: Hospital Treatment Underway

“Upon arrival we found two men in the first car and a woman pedestrian,” a WMAS spokeswoman said.

“The woman had potentially life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”

“One male passenger suffered serious injuries and also received advanced trauma care at the scene before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”

“The second male passenger had less serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to Good Hope Hospital.”

“No other patients required treatment.”

The authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
