A 31-year-old man from Amlwch has been slammed with jail time after cops found over £13,000 worth of drugs in his car and storage unit.

Ricky James Pritchard, from Maes Llwyn, faced the music at Caernarfon Crown Court on 23 January. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, plus handling criminal property.

Traffic Stop Leads to Major Drug Bust

On 27 December, officers pulled over Pritchard near Amlwch Industrial Estate. A search of his car revealed a stash of cocaine and cannabis resin, sparking further investigation.

Storage Unit Raid Uncovers Cash and More Drugs

Police then swooped on Pritchard’s storage container, seizing large amounts of cash, additional cocaine, pills, and drug-dealing paraphernalia. The total street value of the haul was an eye-watering £13,600.

Pritchard was locked up for one year and four months for his drug dealing offences.
