Five men and one woman are facing the dock at Caernarfon Crown Court, accused of running a vile child sexual exploitation gang in Denbighshire.
Main Abuser at Centre of Shocking Allegations
Mustafa Iqbal, 43, is alleged to be the ringleader. He supposedly groomed and abused three teenage girls aged between 14 and 16 from 2022 to 2023. Iqbal faces multiple serious charges, including rape, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and dealing drugs like cannabis and cocaine to his victims in exchange for sex.
Five Others Deny Serious Charges
Alongside Iqbal, the accused are Ziaullah Badshah, 25, Mohamed Usman Arshad, 36, Jaswinder Singh, 61, and Sarah Gray, 53. They deny 28 charges in total, ranging from rape and sexual assault to supplying drugs to children and orchestrating child prostitution.
Lengthy Trial to Expose Extent of Abuse
The six-week to two-month trial promises to reveal the horrific details of the gang’s exploitation of vulnerable youngsters in Rhyl. The court is expected to hear harrowing testimony over the coming weeks as justice seeks to be served.
