The father of 16-year-old Baye Bireme Fall has made a desperate plea to young people to end knife crime. Baye was fatally attacked near a Peterborough shopping centre on April 12th.
Hundreds Mourn Young Life Cut Short
On Saturday night, hundreds gathered to honour Baye’s memory. The devastated dad, speaking through a translator, shared the family’s deep pain and thanked everyone who showed support.
“Please stop the violence. My family is suffering unimaginably,” he told the crowd.
The emotional speech ended with a loud cheer of “AMEN” and heartfelt applause.
Community and MPs Unite
Friends, family, community leaders, and local MPs came together to pay their respects. Baye’s life was cruelly taken too soon in a violent attack that has shaken the community.
