Violent Clash at Llanelli Railway Station
British Transport Police are on the hunt for crucial witnesses after a woman was assaulted at Llanelli railway station. The attack happened around 11pm on Friday, 19 July, when a couple in their 40s got off a train and clashed verbally with another pair on the platform. The argument quickly turned violent. During the scuffle, the female victim was grabbed and punched in the face. She suffered a nasty black eye and a split lip.
Police Release CCTV Image – Who Is She?
Officers have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to. Police believe she may hold vital information that could crack the case. A BTP spokesperson urged:
“We are appealing for anyone who recognises the woman in the image, or who witnessed the incident, to get in touch. Any information provided will greatly assist our investigation.”
