West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze on London Road in East Grinstead at around 2.15pm this afternoon, with police closing the road

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze on London Road in East Grinstead at around 2.15pm this afternoon, with police closing the road

East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, and East Sussex Fire and Rescue all responded, with crews wearing breathing apparatus tackling the fire with hose reels and a thermal imaging camera.

A fire department spokeswoman confirmed that the bus had been evacuated prior to their arrival and that the fire was started by accident.
