Emergency services called to chemical incident’ in South West London

Emergency services are dealing with ‘chemical incident’ on Wimbledon High Road SW19.

Police say they were called at around 12:30pm to reports of a chemical smell at a commercial premises.

The incident is not believed to be suspicious.

Police are awaiting an update on any injuries.

12 people left the building before the arrival of London Fire Brigade arrived.

A number of people from the scene have all assessed.

Three men and a woman were who have been effected by the chemicals have been taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service

The cause of the incident is believed to be fumigation of the building which had taken place overnight.
