Police are looking to trace the driver of a white car who may have witnessed a serious collision in Brentwood this morning, Tuesday 20 October,
they were called to London Road shortly after 6.10am to reports a motorcyclist had been injured near the junction with Kavanaghs Road.
The man, who is aged in his 30s and from Chelmsford, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A white car was seen to drive through the scene immediately after the collision and turned left out of Kavanaghs Road, travelling along London Road in the direction of the M25 and Brook Street roundabout.
We are looking to trace the driver, who may have seen what happened and be able to help with our enquiries.
We’d also like to speak to anyone else who has yet to come forward and was in the area at the time or has dash cam footage.

A road closure remains in place on Honeypot Lane (North Weald side) and at the petrol garage on London Road.
Diversions are in place, but drivers are asked to avoid the area where possible.
