Police have confirmed that the taxi driver arrested for drink driving after his cab was involved in a multi vehicle collision on St Mary’s Road in Fratton has been charged with an offence of drink driving.

Part of St May’s Road, including the bridge, was closed just before 10pm following the collision whilst Police investigators examined the scene and car parts were cleared it was reopened shortly after 11.30pm.

The Driver Razvan Calotwsuc,34 from Fratton has been bailed to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates court 19th May.
