Fight Breaks Out at Tottenham School – 15-Year-Old Injured

A 15-year-old boy was hurt in a brawl at Duke’s Aldridge Academy in Tottenham, sparking a police response and a school investigation.

Police Called as Teen Injured in School Yard Clash

The Metropolitan Police were scrambled to Duke’s Aldridge Academy on Trulock Road just before noon on Monday, March 10, after reports of a violent fight involving students.

Paramedics treated the injured teen at the scene. Police said his injuries are not believed to be life-changing, offering some relief amid growing alarm.

Despite rumours swirling online, the school confirmed no weapons or knives were involved in the fight.

School Issues Clear Statement Amid Rumours

Responding swiftly on X (formerly Twitter), Duke’s Aldridge Academy’s spokesperson said:

“We’d like to thank everyone for your patience whilst we continue to investigate and resolve the incident that took place at our school today. We want to be really clear—although we are aware of rumours of weapons being used, no members of staff saw any weapons and no knives were involved in the incident.”

The school emphasised student safety remains their top priority and confirmed efforts to dismiss students calmly after the disruption.

Ongoing Police Investigation, No Arrests Yet

Police confirmed they were called at 11:50am on March 10 to reports of a fight at the school. A spokesman said:

“A 15-year-old boy was treated for injuries at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.”

So far, no arrests have been made as officers continue to probe what sparked the fight.

The incident has unsettled parents and residents in the Haringey area, but both school and police officials urge calm while investigations continue.
