Tragic Blaze at Harlesden Flats: Man Dies in Early Morning Fire

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters rushed to a blaze at a block of flats on St Mary’s Road, Harlesden, in the early hours.

Fire Tears Through Sixth Floor Flat

The fire damaged part of a sixth-floor flat in the seven-storey building. Firefighters, decked out in breathing apparatus, discovered a man inside. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Rapid Response Brings Fire Under Control

The Brigade received the call at 1.43am and had the fire under control by 2.51am. Fire crews from Park Royal, Willesden, North Kensington, and Wembley stations were all on site.

Cause of Fire Under Probe

The London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service are investigating the cause of the deadly blaze.
