Delivery Driver’s Quick Thinking Saves Life

A man was rushed to hospital with suspected stab wounds after being found collapsed and bleeding outside Tesco Metro in Acton, we can reveal. A newspaper delivery driver raised the alarm in the early hours of Monday morning when he spotted the victim slumped with blood pouring from his body.

Garage Worker Calls Emergency Services

A shocked garage worker nearby had to call both police and ambulance after discovering the injured man outside The Vale on Uxbridge Road. The victim was found around 3am, lying in a heap. “He looked in a very bad way, there was lots of blood over him,” the worker said. Police administered first aid until paramedics arrived.

Emergency Services Respond Promptly

The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called just after 3am. “We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer. The man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority,” a spokesperson said.

Officers remain at the scene as investigations continue into the stabbing.
